SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
Installs, configures and maintains computer systems including (Microsoft) and network services (e.g. DNS, Active Directory, WINS,
SMTP Web, Print, Terminal Server, Backup, Antivirus). Maintain desktop applications and services (e.g., Microsoft and Adobe
applications Antivirus). Provides assistance to users with systems and applications support.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
At least 2 years related job experience.
OTHER SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a good understanding of general computing and networking science.
- Must have understanding of IP networking
- Must have understanding of storage device (Network Appliance, SCSI RAID) operations and configuration
- Ability to communicate with non-technical users required.
- Other computer or network technology certifications preferred.
- UNIX experience in Linux and Solaris preferred.

Call Center Supervisor
Responsible for the daily activity and performance of travel specialist and customer service representatives. Ensure that quotas for service level and sales goals are met through monitoring and coaching. Provide professional and quality service to all internal and external clients. Assist the department manager in creating and assessing quarterly departmental goals, handle escalated calls when appropriate. Previous call center experience required, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong computer and phone skills a must.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER III - JAVA
VEGAS.com, the premiere Internet destination for Las Vegas, is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Software Development team. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and work well in a fast-paced, start-up team environment. Duties as described below:
Description:
- Make architectural and design decisions to meet business requirements in building and extending travel and leisure web applications
- Work as the technical-lead among a team of software engineers to ensure architectural consistency and best software engineering practices
- Advise management and business organizations on issues ranging from technical strategies to third party technology integration, and provide the architectural road maps to support the company business vision
- Work with other engineers, managers, Product Management, QA, and Operations teams to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, system architecture, and adherence to development goals and principles.
- Must be able to independently design code and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes.
- Interact with key partners and internal users regarding timelines, technical issues, and infrastructure integration.
- Effective in technical presentation to both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in CS or related field
- Strong Object oriented modeling using UML methodology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Hands on ability to "dive in" to the code, understand it completely, and then drive a significant series of re-architecting or re-engineering projects
- 5+ years experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications in Windows and UNIX environments.
- 2+ years architectural experience on the "engine" level for a commercial software company
- 2+ years of project lead experience with J2EE application servers required.

Sr. Manager of Project Management
Oversee the ongoing development and execution of a company-wide project management process, responsible for successful delivery of simultaneous projects in a SDLC-based Product Development environment. Develops project plans and processes, identifying critical path needs, setting deadlines, assigning project management responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing project progress, and ultimately reporting status to senior management. Must be able to think strategically while managing limited resources from a number of functional areas. Must have minimum three years experience with product implementation and management. Good understanding of business and marketing in a technology or Internet based environment, direct experience building and managing a team of project managers, knowledge of project management tools, process workflow and procedures.
