SmartGirl News ~ September 2004

In this issue:

MEET A MENTOR!

Kavitha is the SmartGirl mentor for September! Kavitha's pet peeve is, "When strangers find it necessary to make negative comments about my dog's looks while we're out walking. (She's a bulldog, by the way)." In order to relax after hearing such nonsense about her dog, she likes to indulge in "Watching tv shows like Very Best of the World's Worst Drivers or Showbiz Moms and Dads." To find out more about Kavitha, please visit: http://www.smartgirl.org/issues/mentors.html

YOUR VOICE

The Skinny on Skin Care Results

Some people spend hours in front of the mirror inspecting their faces and running search and destroy missions at the first sign of a pimple. Others avoid looking at themselves unless it's absolutely necessary. We asked SmartGirls all about their skin care habits including the types of products they use, how much they know about skin cancer, and the kinds of skin problems they've had.
