Each year the Young New Yorkers participate in two fundraisers. The very successful "A Night on the Town X" took place on February 10, 2004. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Young New Yorkers, the evening began with renowned composer/conductor John Williams leading the New York Philharmonic in an evening of his celebrated film music. A gala dinner dance followed at the Racquet & Tennis Club. A second gala in the summer of 2004 will soon be announced. We hope that Young New Yorkers will support one or both of the annual fundraisers and contribute to the Philharmonic's Annual Fund.

At each concert, the Young New Yorkers sit together in a reserved block of seats and gather afterwards at a restaurant in the Lincoln Center area.
