Travel Solutions: Online success stories...

Simply New York

The earlier version of this hotel reservations site was text heavy, with very loose functionality and design. We revamped the site from scratch, making it crisp and objective, with watertight functionality and impressive aesthetics. Brand building features like a mascot, positioning, et al were introduced. Besides, we made it easy for the customer to find the ideal hotel as per his/her needs and reserve it, instantly.
We programmed the solution on a MS platform using ASP, XML & XSLT. The hotel search results displayed on the website are fetched from the XML server (Gilboa). And the booking gets completed, online (secured payment gateway server).

Metropolis Travel

The uniqueness of this project was that the portal required to be integrated with two independent tour operators, who owned the hotel inventory. Covering worldwide destinations, we created separate hotel booking flows for both the suppliers. But the look and feel was similar to create a single user experience.

City-specific hot deals were displayed on the respective city's hotel search page, for which a local XML database was developed. Hosted on the e.Windows server, the programming technology is ASP, XML & XSLT. The online Site Management Tool, done in ASP & XML, took care of updating the hot offers, city names, margins et al.

Paris Hotels

As pretty as Paris, this hotel portal works beautifully! While the back-end is complex, the front-end solution makes it simple to manage and use.

The client side's TravelCafe® has an online travel inventory, in which a hotel database is installed on OS Win NT 2000 and MS SQL server. The database is communicated via ASP programs for searching and reserving a hotel via the portal, upon which it gets updated immediately. Similarly, when any booking is made at the client side via TravelCafe® application (offline), the hotel inventory is updated, and hence results are reflected online in real time. Moreover, to create and update the hotel profile we created an online XML database, which is managed by the client.

All in all, this portal is not only easy to administer, but is operationally very efficient - ensuring zero errors!

Marathon Travel

This portal enables you to hire a coach/car online, when you are planning a trip to London. Just select your pick-up/drop-off point, number of passengers, etc., and you get your trip cost. Confirm the same, and your commuting in London is secured much before you land. Simple! You have the freedom to book either online or via fax for your round/one-way trip. Affiliate services like hotels, flights, trains, packages et al in the UK is another feature of this site.

While the database is in MySQL, the front-end system is deployed in PHP (Personal Home Pages) technology. Being flexible and open source, the program is run on Linux server. A simple, online Site Management Tool was developed to enable the client to manage the database, viz. prices, area names, vehicle types, etc.

Simply London

This London specific hotel bookings portal had to be integrated with the Jacob XML server. The complete portal has been built from zilch. The 'mascot boy' of the 'Simply' portal series has been repeated here too, as an online brand extension. The customary hotel search form has been tucked inside the site, away from the home page. While star wise 'hot' offers are displayed on the home page with some description.

We programmed the solution on a MS platform using ASP, XML & XSLT. The hotel search results displayed on the website are fetched from the XML server (Jacob). And the booking gets completed, online (secured payment gateway server). Checkout the neat user functionality…

Echo Travel

A pure back-end hotel bookings project, with the client implementing the front-end solution at their end. Based on the requirement analysis, we programmed the solution on a MS platform using ASP, XML & XSLT. The hotel search results displayed on the website are fetched from the XML server (Gilboa). And the booking gets completed, online (secured payment gateway server).

In the above case, our development team used temporary 'vanilla' screens while engineering the solution that were then replaced with the final front-end screens by the client.

London Apartment

Want to rent an apartment in London? Well, go nowhere, but this site. Get the best deal based on need inspired parameters or request for apartment suggestions… features that result in complete customer delight. We decided on this site's strategy, functionality, et al based on the detailed site requirement analysis we did, from the client and end users point of view. Go ahead, rent an apartment and see for yourself...

Reserve USA

You can have a single backend engine working for you, with multiple front ends. Thus enjoying benefits from many sites, while keeping costs ridiculously low. This particular site talks about the many possibilities of holiday hotels in USA. Helping surfers to make an informed choice, before leading them to the 'actual' reservations site.
