The company Friendly Connections Ltd was originally created to promote the Farm and Home Hosting Experience in New Zealand, to a World Wide audience. It then expanded that concept to include promotion of Bed and Breakfast accommodation, Guest Houses and Self Contained Accommodation in New Zealand and Australia.

In August 2002, Friendly Connections Ltd sold its developing Australian web site to Peter Coster, the original founder of Friendly Connections Ltd.

The new Australian web site www.australianhomestay.com and www.australianfarmstay.com is now operated by some of the original directors of Friendly Connections through Accommodation Promotion Services Ltd. These Directors now wish to make all their years if experience on the Internet available for the benefit of Australian Hosts.

Peter and Suzanne Coster were originally Homestay Hosts in New Zealand for many years and moved into promoting other Homestay Host's accommodation on the Internet by forming Friendly Connections Ltd in 1997.

Since that time they have created a reliable and creative team through working with Digiweb NZ Ltd as their providers, Hairy Lemon Web Solutions Ltd as web designers with Mark Rocket of Avatar Web Solutions as a specialist marketer. Brendan McNeill, the Chairman of Directors of Friendly Connections Ltd has had more than 25 years experience in the computer industry in engineering, sales and marketing roles with Data General, and Computer Science Corporation. He founded Digiweb NZ Ld to meet the growing demand for internet web site hosting services.

Digiweb provides the web hosting for Accommodation Promotion Services Ltd. Brendan also provides consulting services to ensure that the sites are regularly updated with the latest technology.

All enhancements are designed to ensure that the sites are easy to navigate and the booking of accommodation is a simple task.
