Ice Fishing

I found this on another site and had to share, originally submitted by Jack Brannon
I went ice fishing for the first time the other day, and was somewhat puzzled as to why anyone would go to all the trouble they did to get a couple buckets of ice. After we drilled our holes, and before the rest of the guys could get their gear ready, I filled all the 5 gal. sit-on buckets with ice, and was ready to go home. When the rest of the guys started putting these weird looking contraptions into the water, I asked them what they were. When they said they were tip-ups, I wanted to know what they were going to tip up.One of the fellows stood up and just looked at me with a funny look on his face. Then he started to sit down on a bucket, and noticed all the swell ice I had gathered for them. He right away wanted to know who had filled all the buckets with ice. I said I had, and wanted to know why we weren't leaving, since we had all the buckets filled. He wanted to know why in the world I had put ice in all their sit down buckets, and I said I thought when they wanted to go ice fishing, they meant they wanted some lake ice for some special Super Bowl drink. They then sent me off across that big lake to try and find some snow worms for bait.It must have made them angry that I never found any snow worms because they have never asked me to go ice fishing with them again.
