First things first
Any casual observer of the Washington, D.C., scene would see that our president (George Bush, lest we forget) has been spending an inordinate amount of time this year raising funds (begging, actually) for both his political party and, thus, for his own personal political gain. Never mind that there is a war going on in Iraq -- first things first.
