Section ICRC information services This section explains the work of the ICRC library and research centre, including the photo library, and the Archives Division. The ICRC's library and research centre is a repository of information on international humanitarian law and ICRC activities worldwide and is open to the general public. The ICRC Archives Division, a unit of the General Directorate, has a dual function, namely to manage both current records and historical archives. Library and Research Service / Centre d'information et de documentation (CID) The Library and Research Service is a public resource offering over 140,000 documents on international humanitarian law, humanitarian work and ICRC activities. The documents take a range of forms – books, periodicals, videos, photos and CD-ROMs. |
