The Tonight Show with Jay Leno is one of the most popular late-night television shows out there, with its quirky and hilarious host Jay Leno keeping millions entertained every night. Leno was handpicked by Johnny Carson to take over the show upon his retirement in 1992, and was an instant hit. His show each night features a wide array of guests, from celebrities and hot musical acts to interesting civilian guests and Leno's own quirky standup comedy.
If you know when you'll be in the LA area, you can write to the show and request tickets. These tickets are a hot item which go quickly, so the Tonight Show recommends requesting tickets at least six weeks in advance. To get tickets, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with a letter requesting up to four tickets for both your desired dates as well as up to three other alternate dates. This can be mailed to:

If you haven't pre-ordered tickets, they can sometimes be acquired at the NBC Ticket Box, located at NBC Studios in Burbank. The Ticket Box opens at 8:00 am, and up to two tickets per person are given out.
