Security at the
Airport
|
New Security Changes
The Airport has been making a number of changes to our security
program across a broad range of areas to improve aviation security and to better
protect the traveling public.
- Vehicles on the departure and arrival
ramps are limited to active loading and unloading only. Vehicles
which remain on the ramp for other than extremely short periods,
will be directed to relocate. Impoundment and towing will be
actively used to move unattended vehicles.
- Curbside check-in is currently not available
unless the airlines re-establish this service.
- Only ticketed passengers are authorized
beyond the screening points unless special requirements are approved
in advance at the airline ticket counter.
- Expect to spend more time going through
screening check points.
- No knives or cutting instruments of any
size or material will be allowed on your person or in your carry-on
luggage.
Until further notice, Point Woronzof Drive
is restricted to official business traffic (AWWU, Signature Flight
Support, the recycling center, and Clitheroe Center) from 11PM
to 7AM. A guard is posted just west of the Boeing Drive intersection
to check vehicles.
