Yahoo Directory Submission:
The Yahoo Directory charges an annual fee of $299 for inclusion. Our cost for
submitting is $100 (one time fee). Once your site is included, it is very
rare that it will ever change. Your $100 cost to us is mega bargain when
you think that this may be your Yahoo Directory Listing for "Life".
We will refund your entire fee if you are not included in the Yahoo Directory
within one month ($399).
DMOZ Submission:
$150 paid to submit (one time fee to We Build Pages), and $150 (one time fee
to We Build Pages) paid when listed at http://dmoz.org (Listing
may take several months, and there is no guarantee of inclusion). Let us
work to get you listed for only $150. If you get in within 5 months you pay
another $150.
*DMOZ is free to submit to, but we recommend our submitting team for a
better chance of getting your site listed, and a better chance of a stronger
listing.

Being listed in some of the major directories like the Yahoo
Directory and DMOZ (The Open Directory
Project) can help your rankings in places like Google and Inktomi.
Search engines tend to give sites listed in directories
a bit of a "boost" because in order to be listed in a directory,
a real live human editor must review your site. The theory
of the engines is that if a site has a directory listing
than it must have some "redeeming" values, because it's "passed" an
editors review.

This doesn't mean that we can magically get your site listed.
Your site will still have to pass a review and edit from
the specific Directory Category Editor (beyond our control).
As editors, we know the "system", and we feel you have a
much greater chances of getting listed, and having a "good" listing
by letting us work with you, as opposed to your performing
the submissions yourself.

in the "best", most relevant, category possible, with a prime
description. Before any Yahoo or DMOZ submissions are sent
out, they are put through a 3 person review panel here. All
3 of us are editors for several of the major directories.
From there, our editors will be identifying and submitting
your site to relevant directories.
Getting a "poor" listing, when you could have done "better" is
sad, because getting a directory listing changed can be "near
impossible". Getting it "right" the first time is extremely
