Can't get to Avery Fisher Hall to hear the New York Philharmonic in person? The Philharmonic's newest broadcast offering, The New York Philharmonic This Week, can you put you in the best seat in the house — your armchair. Listen on the radio or tune in right here at newyorkphilharmonic.org, where each concert is archived for a week.

The two-hour, weekly radio program of concerts by the New York Philharmonic is generously underwritten by The Kaplen Foundation, The Peter Jay Sharp Foundation, and our corporate partner, MetLife Foundation.

The broadcasts, over 39 weeks, include intermission features and interviews with performers and audience members, and are produced and syndicated nationwide to nearly 300 outlets by the
WFMT Radio Network in Chicago.

The New York Philharmonic This Week is heard locally on 96.3 FM WQXR at 9 PM on Tuesdays, and online on WQXR.com.

WFMT Fine Arts Network, the international syndication division of award-winning Chicago classical music station 98.7FM WFMT, produces and distributes these monthly broadcasts to nearly 300 radio outlets nationwide. New York's 96.3 FM WQXR airs the broadcasts locally. In addition to the New York Philharmonic broadcasts, WFMT syndicates the major orchestras of Chicago, Los Angeles, Berlin, and Washington, D.C.; Opening Night performances from Lyric Opera of Chicago; exclusive programming from Germany's Deutsche Welle Radio and the British Broadcasting Corporation; and dozens of classical, folk, jazz, news series, and specials to radio outlets around the world.

96.3 FM WQXR is America's most listened-to commercial classical radio station, with nearly a million listeners tuning in each week.
