Temp Page with PR for New
Friends
I have had a number of people
express concern about exchanging links with my site because my
"Friends" area is to new to have any PR. Therefore, I have
taken an old page which had PR and have transformed it into this
one for new link partners to have their site listed until there
is a new PR update, if that ever happens.

There are some other thoughts I
would like to share:
First, a Google search for Beckenridge Ski School will clearly show that this site is not being
penalized.
Second, there is a huge amount of
information out there that PR may very well be a thing of the
past and that the PR number currently displayed in Googlebar is
so out of date as to be meaningless. Here are two forum threads
which touch on this subject:
Both of these forums are
owned by SEO Guy who is extremely knowledgeable. A search
at http://www.seo-guy.com/forum/search.php for the Key Word of “PR” and User Name of
“SEO Guy” will shed a great deal of light on this
subject.
My experience with this site
supports the thoughts expressed by the webmasters on these
forums. I have gone from not being on the first 30 pages of
Google for my primary keywords to now being on page 1 for many of
them, meanwhile my PR has remained unchanged.
Finally, for anyone who still
requires Googlebar PR for their backlink, I will be happy to post
your link here until my "Friends" area gets some.
