Starting in 1996, Alexa Internet has been donating their crawl data to the Internet Archive. Flowing in every day, these data are added to the Wayback Machine after an embargo period.
This is a Java-based application, so please be patient
while it is downloading. Using OANDA's Foreign Exchange Protocol (FXP)
server software, the foreign exchange "playground" allows you to display
customized graphs of historical exchange rates and cross-rate tables
for any of the 164 currencies. Daily rates are available back to 1990.
See tips below.
IE5 users: see IE tips if you are having trouble
with the graphs.
The "Save Basket As" button will let you save up to 7 different
baskets of currencies.
You can bookmark this page so that you can re-use your saved
currency baskets next time.
The "Graph absolute values" works best when displaying only
one currency or a set of currencies that are similar in value.
To avoid getting many horizontal lines, try to select a set of
currencies that are similar in value, such as CHF and CAD.
Printing the graphs and tables: Printing of graphs has been disabled.
IE5 Tips:
If you have trouble using the graphs, follow these steps:
Under the "Tools" menu option, select "Internet
Options".
Choose the "Advanced" tab and Scroll down to the "Java
VM" section.
Disable the "JIT Compiler for Virtual Machine" checkbox.
