Forecasts cover over 170 inshore/coastal locations and give maximum temperature, average wind speed, average wind direction, visibility and likelihood of precipitation. Each SMS consists of two weather reports. The first is an overview of the current situation and the second is a summary of weather conditions for the same location in six hours time. Forecasts are based on the latest Met Office information and are updated on an hourly basis. Each forecast also contains an embedded telephone number which allows you to connect to Marinecall audio should you require easy access to an oOutlook forecast for up to five days ahead.
