Speech Therapy Our Speech Therapist will assist residents who have speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. Proper eating is essential in maintaining wellness, and good communication skills help maintain social stimulation and interaction. The therapist will help you build listening and understanding skills, verbal expression, orientation and memory skills, reasoning and problem-solving skills, swallowing, voice quality, and help with alternative communication needs, if necessary.   Due to our new construction, our Physical Therapy department has temporarily relocated to 250 E. 11th Street, Southport, until the new building is complete.
