Gastown is the oldest area of Vancouver and is situated by the
Vancouver harbor south of Canada Place. It was transformed from a
grubby rough area into a tourist area with popular shops and
restaurants. The steam powered clock on the main street is a
Vancouver landmark and a big tourist attraction.
