CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER

We are currently seeking to appoint a Customer Service Officer. You will be expected to provide a comprehensive administrative service, in the distribution of staff travel facilities to past and present railway industry employees. You will work as part of a team to ensure effective provision of help and guidance to industry employers on the rules applicable to these facilities.

To be successful you should have sound administrative and organisational skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, be self motivated and able to work effectively within a small team. Providing a daily customer interface, you would possess good communication skills, have a pleasant telephone manner and be able to demonstrate your commitment to the continued provision of an efficient and friendly customer service.

Knowledge of staff travel facilities would be an advantage, but is not essential. The position might appeal to a recent school/college leaver with an interest in the travel industry who is keen to secure their first working position.
