| A flexible agreement for customers worldwide that delivers maximum return on your software investment |
|
| The Contractual Licensing Program (CLP) is a flexible volume software licensing program offered through Adobe® Open Options 4.0. It applies at least the same discount level to all of an organization's Adobe desktop software ordering during the life of the CLP agreement, based on the value of an initial order but with no further order commitment beyond that initial order. The CLP offers the discount level to all new and upgrade software orders and Upgrade Plan orders. Additional orders may qualify the customer for a higher discount level. The CLP is available worldwide and covers most Adobe desktop products.
In addition to volume pricing, the CLP helps organizations cut costs by simplifying software ordering and administration in several ways. First, it provides you with a single licensing agreement that can be effective worldwide, so that a customer always gets the same discount level regardless of where it is located or what quantity it is ordering. Second, Adobe provides all CLP customers with an easy-to-use, Web-based licensing site that simplifies licensing administration and record keeping. The site provides your organization with a login and password for access to comprehensive Adobe software licensing information so you can see your global software ordering status at-a-glance and easily track licensing records.
For higher educational institutions in North America, the CLP now offers the Student Licensing Option, which lets you buy licenses of selected Adobe software for redistribution or resale to your students, while earning points under your CLP agreement for those orders. This is a great way to make Adobe’s industry-standard software an integral part of coursework and lab work. See details.
For all customers in North America, and for commercial customers worldwide, the CLP now offers the High-Volume Discount, which provides even higher discount levels if you order a specified minimum units of a qualifying product license or Upgrade Plan. (Note: The order cannot mix different products to meet the unit minimum.)

Your discount level is based on the size of your initial order of software licenses and Upgrade Plan. This discount level is applied to any subsequent orders in the two-year agreement period. And all orders are cumulative, so additional purchases over your two-year term may qualify you for an even better discount level.
The CLP is open to commercial, education, or government customers; their point requirements, discount levels, and agreements may vary. Contact your Adobe Licensing Center to find out more.

Your Adobe Licensing Center will help determine your discount tier based on your initial order and will ensure that you receive the best possible value.
Q. What are the discount levels?

Q. What are the High-Volume Discount levels? A. The High-Volume Discount offer is based on units purchased, not points. If you order a qualifying number of units of select new software licenses, software upgrades, or Upgrade Plan, you qualify for even higher discounts. The extra discount amount can rise based on the number of units ordered. Note that different products cannot be combined to achieve the minimum order amount for the High-Volume Discount. Contact your Adobe Licensing Center for more information on pricing. (Note: High-Volume Discount is available to all CLP customers in North America, but only to commercial CLP customers in selected regions outside North America.)

Q. What are benefits of Upgrade Plan? A. Upgrade Plan is like an upgrade insurance program. When you order Upgrade Plan for a product, you are entitled to all upgrades during the Upgrade Plan term. In the CLP, Upgrade Plan ends on the same date the CLP agreement ends. Adobe will automatically send notification of available upgrades to CLP Upgrade Plan customers.
Q. Does Adobe have a Web-based license management tool for CLP customers?
Yes, when you order a license through one of Adobe’s volume software licensing programs, you are assigned a login and password for use at the Web-based licensing management system, where you can track order history, run reports, edit your account, and locate your full list of serial numbers.
