After January 1st 2005, I will no longer be able to continue hosting fishingkayaks.net.

Due to the growing demands of operating my  film, video & digital media business, I find I have less and less time left these days for getting out on the water kayak fishing. Updating, maintaining, creating and completing web content requires considerable time so some choices needed to be made. I welcome inquiries by parties interested in continuing operations or creating a new site at this well ranked domain after January 1, 2005.  E-Mail:

I wish to thank all those who have visited and supported this site over the years. I hope it has been of some benefit to you. If you are local to southern California, I'll see you on the water more often.

Sincerely,
Keith Martin

The future of kayak fishing and sportfishing in general depends on all of us, both as a group and as individuals. We share a responsibility to help protect and preserve our resources for future generations to enjoy. The scientific journal 'Conservation Biology' warns that the living structures of sea beds are being destroyed by bottom trawling 150 times faster than the current rate of global deforestation.  Some demolished habitat areas may never fully recover.

Help stop the destructive practice of bottom trawling off California's coast, more....
