In the event that you suffer from decompression sickness while on Layang Layang, you will be transferred from the island to Labuan which has a decompression chamber.
Chamber treatment is expensive so please dive safely. We recommend you take out your own dive insurance policy and bring details - see our terms page for recommendations.
The Malaysian Navy also have a base on the island, so you can go diving safe in the knowledge that the armed security is always present.
