Some service combine your credit card debt together and lower your monthly payment. Some services offer loans to pay off the credit cards. If one gets a loan to eliminate the credit card debt you will still have to pay back the loan.
If one gets the credit card debt combined in to one payment through a consolidation service, you will be only paying for the debts you have already incurred. Some of these services may charge a fee, also. So shop around for the best one for you and your needs.

Some people I know have thousands upon thousands of dollars in debt. This includes credit card, auto loans, home mortgages, student loans and medical bills. You may have to get two jobs to do this, but in the end it would all be worth it to not have any debt. After a few months the debt will be gone and you will be own your way to having good or even great credit.

We have a paper shredder so no one gets our account numbers, addresses and names, but we need a credit card shredder. Guess what, they make credit card shredders! You can purchase these just about anywhere. So buy just one more thing and make it a credit card shredder. This shredder can also be used for CD's. Now, shred all the credit cards in your wallet or purse. Without these cards on hand you can not use them. Thus, eliminating future credit card debt. Because you can not cancel a credit card until the balance is zero, this makes it easier to not use them at all.
