Road Delays
Trinity County Road 501(Mad River Road)
Expect up to two hour delays on Trinity County Road 501(Mad River Road), which provides access to Ruth Lake.
The road is under construction from the intersection of County Road 501 and Highway 36 to the Ruth Dam
Monday through Friday until November.
The following road construction schedule will be followed:
- 7:00 am to 9:00 am – Closed
- 9:00 am – Traffic will be cleared with a pilot car
- 9:15 am to 11:00 am – Closed
- 11:00 am – Traffic will be cleared with a pilot car
- 11:15 am to 1:00 pm – Closed
- 1:00 pm – Traffic will be cleared with a pilot car
- 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm – Closed
- 3:00 pm – Traffic will be cleared with a pilot car
- 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm – Closed
- After 4:30 pm – 30-minute delays with a pilot car
- School bus will be cleared upon arrival; other traffic can go at that time
