Is there such a thing as a business opportunity that will cost you no money up front to get started? Actually, there is, and in fact you can find many such opportunities in a variety of scenarios.

A major growth industry of business opportunity on the Internet is the sudden rise of affiliate partnerships. This arrangement basically means you sign up to sell other people's products on your web site (or to direct people to other people's sites from your web site) and when someone buys something you get a percentage of the cost.
This is a great business opportunity if you can make it work because you don't actually have to have any products of your own to sell, you just drive traffic to another person's web site. As you can imagine, though, it can be difficult to make a lot of money this way, because you have to do a lot of marketing to get people to your web site if you don't already have a lot of site traffic.
But other than the cost of web hosting, this is a completely free business opportunity, and it's definitely a good idea to look into, at least as a side stream of income.

Another relatively simple, business opportunity with little or no startup cost is a store on the Internet. These can range from online pharmacies to grocery stores to places that link to all sorts of other retailers and you get a percentage of sales. Again, this can be a profitable business opportunity because there is no startup cost; there is no real store and the inventory is controlled and managed by some larger company.
Another advantage of online stores is that if you do all your shopping at the "store" you own, you'll get a percentage back on all your purchases. But you need to have other buyers as well, so its important to have a strategy for driving customers to your site, as with all other Internet-based businesses.
Additional Online Business Opportunity
There are other options if you are looking for a business opportunity online that have to do with promoting other people's products. Somewhat like a cross between an affiliate and direct marketing, you would set up a web site to draw users to a third party's products. Some of the most common free businesses of this sort have to do with promoting web services (like design and hosting) or telecommunications products and services. Basically the company sets up a web site for you and again you must draw prospective customers and will get a share of any sales made from you site.
These "free" business opportunities abound on the web, and while it may not be easy to make a fortune from these types of sites and sales, they can be an easy, interesting way to add a little more money to your income stream each month. It's certainly worth your time to check out the possibilities.
