My local craft store offers a crafting class of some kind several times each week. I have attended a "how to" workshop at my local home improvement store. There are a number of opportunities to offer your crafting expertise to create a business opportunity. Consider developing a brief proposal to use when you approach a store about offering your experience. It is also a good idea to present some examples of your work.

If you do not have an appropriate venue in your community, consider renting a space. It is relatively inexpensive to rent space at community centers, libraries and churches. You can advertise your workshop by placing an ad in your community newsletter or by posting flyers.
