The Wide Variety of Business Opportunity Today.

In todays' world of rapidly developing technology companies are quick to see a new business opportunity. Software companies still compete to make the most user friendly programs that are easy to use and packed with features. A business always intensely competes with its fellow companies to out do there new version of a product or software, recognizing the opportunity to attract more customers. Today in stores we see many different versions of the exact same product.

When we feel like purchasing a new television set we are forced an array of choices all trying to out do the competition by varying their price, product features, and quality. Customers can definitely relate to have to search for hours and many different stores to find exactly what they want for the correct price.

Business owners recognize the opportunity that if they make the product that appeals to the largest population, over all their competitors, that they will sell to the largest amount of customers and become the most successful.

How Business Owners Turn Another Companies Product into an Opportunity for Themselves.

When a company comes out with an exciting new product that has people rushing to the stores, its competing company will surely be hard at work on a counterpart that better and cheaper than the last. This is how products evolve, think of the first bulky unreliable compact disc players, now think of the small sleek compact disc players of today. Products get better and better, also cheaper and cheaper as time goes on.

One company can take another companies success and make it into a business opportunity for themselves. One perfect example of product development and companies making other companies successes into a business opportunity for themselves is video game systems. About a decade ago the first primitive video game systems were released. After that a few companies released their version of video game systems.

After a couple more years the companies released more systems making sure to keep up with the other systems released at the same time. This pattern continued until present day. People have become to call groups of released gaming systems that have similar features, system generations. Companies have found releasing their product at the same time as other companies release their product can be a way to make more money than releasing in between product generations.

The theory behind this is that once a customer has a product with similar features to that of another company he wont go buy a similar product even if it is slightly better. By releasing the product at the peak time companies can make the most out of their business opportunity.

How Companies Recognize a New Business Opportunity

Companies not only see business opportunity in currently existing products but also in areas where no current product exists. If a company sees a way to make a product that would make the lives of people more easy and efficient they can create their own original product and take advantage of a new opportunity.
