Are You Too Young or Too Old to Work at Home and Make Lots of Cash?

Are You Too Young or Too Old to Work at Home and Make Lots of Cash?
One of the most amazing aspects of work at home business opportunities is the fact that you can never be too old or too young to succeed.
But hold on a minute. Actually you can be too old or too young to grow a successful home business. And that's because there is one very common mistake made by both those who are too young in age and those senior citizens in society as well.
And that's a lack of patience.
Don't Fall for All That Work at Home Success Hype
Most work at home opportunities these days are online. And the hype online these days has just gone overboard. Every other person seems to be advertising opportunities to make money that are just total nonsense and a direct abuse to anybody's intelligence.
A majority of them seem to suggest that you can make millions in five minutes while you sleep.
While there is no doubt that the net is an amazing business medium and tool that opens doors for small businesses to earn the kind of money that only large, well funded corporations were able to earn only a few short decades ago, the rules of business still apply.
And one of the most important rules of business is that the entrepreneur needs to be patient. Would you put up a 100 storey building and then give up two months later because you can't find people to rent the space? That's exactly my point. Too many work at home entrepreneurs these days give up long before they've given the business enough time for prospective clients to even notice it.
The young often fall for quick-money-hype because of their inexperience while the old fall for it out of sheer desperation.
Be Patient with Your Work at Home Business and You'll Never Regret It
Take your time selecting your work at home business opportunity, but once you've made your decision, stick to it and see it through to success. Be patient.
A famous advertising consultant, when asked what is the most common mistake some of his clients make, did not hesitate in replying that it was lack of patience. They all liked to hire a marketing consultant for quick results. Quick results are actually more appropriate to instant coffee rather than a business.
A Lesson for Work at Home Entrepreneurs
This is probably the saddest story I've ever had but it illustrates my point perfectly.
There was this guy desperately looking for gold and he dug and searched and prospected for quite a while. Meanwhile the debts continued to mount. Finally he gave up and sold all his equipment and the land where he was prospecting very cheaply.
The guy who bought the piece of dirt came in and dug just three lousy feet before he hit pay dirt and struck a very rich gold mine. My sources insist that this is a true story. I wish it wasn't, it's just too sad.
But then that is what most home based business entrepreneurs do, they give up when they are three lousy feet away from the gold. The very young or the very old tend to give up even sooner.
