Small Business Administration Offers Virtual Campus
In the new tradition of off-site electronic learning, the Small Business Administration offers entrepreneurs the option to learn through a virtual campus.
The Small Business Training Network is sponsored by the Office of Entrepreneurial Development (OED). The OED oversees a network of programs and services that support the training and counseling needs of a small business. According to the SBA, the office is a technical assistance arm with "resource partners" located throughout the country. The OED helps maintain the Small Business Administration's website and provides information about starting and building a business as well as offering online training resources.
The Small Business Administration Training Network is "a virtual campus housing free training courses, workshops and knowledge resources designed to assist entrepreneurs and other students of enterprise."
