NEW YORK (May 11, 2004)  WorldNow, the leading provider of Internet technology, revenue and content solutions for local broadcasters, introduced a new content channel today to a network of more than 120 local TV websites.

The new channel, called WHAT'S NEXT, is a look at emerging trends and innovations that could change site visitors' lives. The content is provided by Nextpert, the leading resource for national and local television for trendspotting, trend predicting and trend translation. Its network is comprised of visionaries and pioneers, trend experts, trend correspondents, trade and consumer magazine editors, and members of the online community of trendspotters and trendsetters called Nextpert Nation. Nextpert was created by television personality Katlean de Monchy ; paging and cellular telephone pioneer David Post; and advertising/branding legend Jay Chiat.

WorldNow already provides other content channels including: Education, House & Home, Money, Pets, Recipes, Relationships, Travel and Weddings in partnership with content providers such as Career Builder.com and Match.com. Each channel hot button appears on the home page of every WorldNow local station website.

As with previously released content channels, stations are expected to add to WHAT'S NEXT's nationally distributed content with local station stories, community angles and input on emerging trends. National advertising for the WHAT'S NEXT channel will be sold by WorldNow's sales staff and there will be local availabilities for each station to sell. While it is too soon to predict the total national audience for WHAT'S NEXT, some of the other content channels attract upwards of 100,000 monthly unique visitors.

"The audience composition will be extraordinary for marketers who want to advertise cool new gadgets, garments or consumer products," says Gary Gannaway, CEO of WorldNow. "By clicking into the channel, users are demonstrating an interest in the latest trends. It would be safe to call visitors to WHAT'S NEXT 'early ADOPTERS' who marketers cherish for their word of mouth product endorsements."

According the David Post, co-founder and Executive Producer of Nextpert, "Our research has concluded the viewers now go to their local TV station's website for up-to-the minute information and as they rely on their morning news to get them going in the morning, the website keeps them current throughout the day.

Our mission is to give them a first look at what's next and promising innovations that can make their lives easier and probably some topics for the water cooler for that day."
