Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
A Special Interest Group (SIG) is defined as any group of Association members with an interest in a particular activity related to international educational exchange which, having organized itself to pursue the common interest, has applied for and received recognition as a SIG from the Board of Directors. SIGs seek to promote the sharing of information and experience among their members and with professional colleagues throughout the Association and are therefore open to all NAFSA members.

- International Living Center SIG (ILC SIG)

- Returned Peace Corps Volunteers SIG
- Student Programming and Mentoring SIG (SPAM SIG)
