Diversity

Our Commitment to Diversity...

The Department of Allied Health Sciences (DAHS) believes that diversity enriches the educational experience. Therefore, the DAHS seeks the most qualified students whose diverse backgrounds, interests, aptitudes, talents, perspectives, and leadership will enhance the academic environment. These factors and more receive consideration in the admissions process.

Graduate School Diversity

The DAHS is also committed to providing equal opportunity to academically qualified students with disabilities. Applicants are not required to furnish information relating to disabilities, although they may provide information voluntarily. Academic qualifications of individuals with disabilities may not always be fully reflected by test scores and other standard indicators of academic performance. For this reason, if an applicant notifies the
DAHS about his or her disability and provides appropriate supporting documentation relating to the disability, we will make special efforts to consider all appropriate indicators of academic qualifications. A wide range of services and accommodations is available for disabled students. For more information, please contact the appropriate office.
