A backup system has nothing to do with plumbers and drains. A backup system is the system of choice when backing up your company's critical data. Data is the core of most modern businesses. We no longer hold all that personal customer data in our heads or that overstuffed, metal file cabinet like we use to. In the past the use of tape for backup was the one and only time tested and trustworthy method for a backup system. Although tape is still a great possibility for a backup system, there are some newer possibilities that may appeal to the budget and business direction of today's businesses. Take a look at remote backup, online backup, DVD and CD backup, and off-site storage backup. All of these backup systems may have advantages for your company.
