Mark
Kilbaha is situated half
way between Carrigaholt and Loop Head. Access is easy with car
parking near the pier. On the outer side of the pier, there is
fishing for Conger over the rough ground. This can be especially
productive at night. This is an ideal venue in stormy weather
conditions as it provides comfortable fishing with reasonable
shelter.
Bait
Rinevella beach
lies 2.75 kms south west of Carrigaholt and close to Kilbaha.
There is good access as the road runs along the head of the
beach. At low water there are patches of lugworm all along this
stretch and the most productive areas are in the shelter of the
rocky outcrops and sand banks.
