Why do you call the credit card customer service number and get put on hold ten times? Well I must tell you that when the customer service representative ask you the same questions that the last three representative have asked you and then puts you on hold again to pull up your information, they are in the middle of lunch or in the middle of a card game with the person sitting next to them with someone else on hold. I am not joking about this either.
If you know someone who has been a customer service rep for any phone rep service, just ask them and they will tell you that they already have the information in front of them, but they are busy and do not want to help you. After their lunch break the customer rep can help you with your questions. They really can. All the answers to any question you may ask is also right in front of them on the computer or on paper for them to refer to.
The number for customer service of a credit card company is always a toll free number. This is so you can not complain about being on hold and now having a large long distance phone bill while the customer services rep was eating lunch or playing cards. If you call the customer service center of a credit card company and get put on hold ten times, do not get mad for they are people too and have to eat.

People can use a stolen credit card as long as the person does not realize that the card is gone and report to the credit card company the missing card. If your credit card has come up missing report this to the credit card company immediately. In the time that you may not realize the credit card is gone the thief can use the credit card to make purchases fo';j , r themselves. Some time there is no way to catch the thief.
Some times store security cameras will catch the thief. If a person gets a hold of your credit card number they can use the number to make online purchases with your credit card. No one is the wiser until it is too late.

There are millions of credit cards used daily in this world. That means there is surely some credit cards they may have similar numbers. The similar numbers can be mistakenly mixed up and you may be charged for something that was suppose to be charged to another persons credit card number. We are all just people and we all make mistakes. You can fix this problem with a little investigating on who the item charged to your credit card number was actually ordered by. The credit card company will be sure to help with this problem, also.
