June 30, 2004 - The Houston Rockets welcomed three of their newest players - Tracy McGrady, Tyronn Lue and Reece Gaines - at a public press conference Wednesday at Toyota Center. Juwan Howard, who was unable to make today's event, will arrive on Thursday.

The large throng of Rockets fans in attendance was loud and boisterous throughout the 15-minute conference, with McGrady often shaking his head in amazement at the enthusiasm of the fans. "In my seven years, I have never seen anything like this," McGrady said in reference to his enthusiastic welcome. "I appreciate the love ... I'm just looking forward to something great happening in the city of Houston."
