superb fishing, Cabo San Lucas & Los Cabos fishing charters boast a number of international fishing records.
A fishing trip to an exotic destination such as Cabo San Lucas requires planning, preparation and research.
Luckily, getting the most of that investment and making sure the fishing adventure goes smoothly is often just a matter of asking the right people the right questions. At Cabo San Lucas Villas we have done all of the planning and research, and are prepared to address any of the questions that may arise prior or after your fishing trip. Providing good service during our fishing trips is critical. The ability to catch fish is one thing, but it is not something that can be controlled. We realize that most of our clients appreciate a well-rigged boat and the professionalism of our fishing crews.
Whether your preferred method of fishing is trolling, casting, or drifting, whether you
prefer fishing with artificial, live or cut baits, whether you are after marlin, mahi-mahi, or yellowfin, the knowledgeable crews of Cabo San Lucas fishing charters make your fishing experience a memorable one. Please contact us at Cabo San Lucas Villas and we’ll help you to arrange an enjoyable fishing outing on your next visit to Cabo San Lucas or Los Cabos. Our fleet of sport fishing or leisure charters on boats or yachts range from 31' on up to 120'.
"There is a common saying or hope- among anglers
that any time spent fishing is not deducted from one’s allotted
life span. If so, there are an extraordinary number of
opportunities all over the world to keep a sportsman
busy and to postpone the inevitable, perhaps forever..."

Cabo
San Lucas Weekly Fishing Report
PISCES WEEKLY
FISH REPORT November 6th
TO November 11th, 2004
BILLFISH: Fishing for big game was
rather quiet this week. It seems that we are
entering a transitional stage, where blue
and black marlin are coming to a close;
though the sailfish are hanging in there –
and where striped marlin are due to make
their appearance “en masse”. The catch rate
figures were high for all species combined,
at ninety-one percent, but once again the
bulk of this was in dorado. One nice catch
that we neglected to mention last week was a
300 lb black marlin caught aboard a panga,
“Little Hooker”, by Michael Theodore,
fishing with Tony Nungarey, both residents
of Cabo – the fish took a live skipjack and
took a little over three hours to boat. Don
Hickman had a very decent day on November
7th, catching and releasing two striped
marlin and two sailfish 26 miles out from
Land’s End , aboard “Valerie” another
outstanding catch was aboard “Ni Modo” for
Tom Gallo and friends from New Jersey , they
had a grand slam of a blue, striped and sail
as well as eight dorado. Next day out “
Adriana ” had three sailfish for Jay Perry &
Karne Rodden from Pedricktown , New Jersey .
After the 8th we had couple of quieter days,
though some boats still produced a few
sailfish and striped marlin. Our catch rate
for billfish this week ended up being low at
thirty-one percent, consisiting of 19
striped marlin and 15 sailfish and one blue
marlin; all but one striped marlin were
released.
OTHER SPECIES: Dorado, dorado,
dorado, clients were happy to reel in one
after another this week, the average catch
was 4 fish, though many boats caught way
more than this. Weights were from 15 to 35
lbs and they were found over a widespread
area, but practically all were on the
Pacific. Ninety-one percent of charters
caught dorado. Tuna catches were way down,
with just fourteen percent of boats finding
yellowfin. November 10th was the best day,
this is when Ken Sousa, aboard “Libre”
caught ten from 20 to 100 lbs and a few
other boats caught as many as a dozen of the
football size, at Golden Gate and San Jaime.
Inshore there were a few roosters, dorado
and needlefish.
LOCATION: Pacific, Land’s End to
Golden Gate , a couple of days billfish were
found at Cabeza Ballena, on the Cortez side.
AVERAGE WATER TEMP: 78 F
BEST LURES: Live bait, green/yellow,
blue/white.

TOURNAMENTS
Mercury/WON Los Cabos Tuna Jackpot
November 3-6, 2004
CABO SAN LUCAS - In case you haven't been paying attention,
last year's Tuna Jackpot Tournament paid out $425,000 to
five teams. This year, with a new $5,000 mega optional
jackpot on the board, the money could be spread out among
even more boats.
"What's truly amazing is how ways there are to win in this
event," said Jackpot Director Kit McNear. "Because there are
so many teams entered that are at different economic levels,
you can have the eighth biggest fish over two days and still
win $30,000 to $100,000. It's bigger and better than ever
for prize money and prizes."
The Outdoor Channel will again be filming for the
third year in a row for a television show to be aired in
January. Pete Gray of Let's Talk Hookup will be at
the Hotel Hacienda for a live broadcast on Saturday morning,
plus there will be local media on site for the what is now
the largest fishing tournament in Baja and the biggest tuna
event in the world.
