On February 4, 2003 the Yugoslav
parliament adopted the Constitutional Charter of the State Union of Serbia and
Montenegro, marking the beginning of a new reformed state, replacing the
Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. After a difficult decade the country is
currently in a transition period focused on attaining regional stability,
partnerships and economic prosperity. As the Ministers travel to the U.S. to
participate in a competitiveness study tour they are looking to interact with
representatives of the U.S. private sector who have either active or pending
interests in the region.
This
is an off-the-record informal business breakfast discussion limited to executives
from
U.S. companies active or interested in Serbia/the Balkans.
