With winter almost here thousands of British families will be taking to the slopes
over the coming months. However, a travel insurance specialist is warning parents
not to pay over the odds for their cover.
InsureandGo’s snap shot research shows that single parents could save
themselves up to £92 and two parent families up to £75 on their
annual worldwide cover - almost the amount needed to cover a 6-day adult lift
pass.

Perry Wilson says: “Parents have enough to pay for to get on to the slope
in the first place especially if they are taking their winter sports break during
the school holidays when tour operators and travel agents tend to charge highly
inflated prices. We just want them, single or not, to know that they do not
need to pay over the odds for their insurance - and have the peace of mind that
they and their loved ones are covered should the unexpected occur.”
InsureandGo covers up to three under 18s for free per insured adult and also
includes winter sports automatically within all its annual policies.
