October 2004 followed the pattern of past years in that forward bookings increased as the month went on.
2. Statistics.
In October 2004:
The number of Hosts who received a booking was up 17% on October 2003.
The number of bed nights booked was up 53% on October 2003.
The number of different countries from which bookings were made was 9.
3. General.
After December the 31st this year we will be one year past the point at which the first guests who made bookings through our on line system, when it was introduced in August 2003, actually took up those bookings.
We can now confidently demonstrate that all of our systems both marketing and on line booking have been well and truly tried, tested and proven.
Our special joining fee offer has ended and the one off set up fee to join our web site has now reverted to $249.00 incl. GST.
www.nzhomestay.co.nz does not recruit large numbers of Hosts as it does not rely on subscriptions for income. It only gets paid on the results it obtains for its Hosts.
