Synopsis High pressure will ridge into the Carolinas from the north through Tuesday. The high will shift off the coast Tuesday night allowing the wind to veer to the south and strengthen during Wednesday. A cold front will cross the area later Wednesday and high pressure will again build from the west Thursday and Friday.
