Because of dedicated supporters across South Carolina and around the nation, we won a resounding victory for the conservative cause in November 2002.  My victory on Election Day was a team effort that could not have been accomplished without your time, effort and financial support.

In Washington, I will fight for the common sense, conservative values we hold dear in South Carolina.  And I pledge to conduct myself in a manner that will never embarrass you but will make you proud to have me as your Senator.

The problems that face our nation are tremendous, but the opportunities to improve our country are even greater.  I ask for your continued support and prayers.
