If you have been mugged and your credit cards have been stolen, fix this huge problem by reporting this to the police and your credit card company. Report this theft as soon as possible so you incur no new charges from the thief using your credit card. The police can monitor the usage of your credit card to help them find the thief. The credit card company can fix any amounts that are charged to your card while it is stolen. Even if you happen to lose your credit card, report that to the credit card company and police also.

Some times you can have your credit card stolen and not even know it for a while. If you do not use the credit card daily, you may not know about the theft for a couple of days. A thief can do a lot of damage in a couple of days. If any of your credit is stolen from you, report the theft immediately. You can not get the help with fixing your credit if you do not report the theft. Your credit could be your name, your credit cards and even checks from your personal checking account. If you have any of these thing stolen report this to your local police so you can get the huge problem fixed as soon as possible.
Theft of your name could cause you huge problems ranging from getting a loan to buying new furniture. your credit is just that your credit and if you have your personal information stolen then you have to let the police and other officials help you to fix the problem. This is not something that you can fix by yourself by any means.

If you choose not to report the theft of any of your personal credit, you will eventually pay for this decision. You could end up with a bad credit report and large bills in your name. If you are not responsible for these charges against you, then why would you want to let the thief get away with ruining your future. Report the theft even if it happens to be someone you know. The bills will still end up being your responsibility.
