As a beneftit for members, First National Bank Alaska offers a set rate of 2.45% electronic draft capture, with a reduced one time set up fee of $35.00. If you wish to have a quote for a set rate we ask that you supply 6 months of your previous merchant statements. There are no additional per transaction fees; monthly support fees; service fees; statement fees or chargeback fees.

First National currently uses Verifone Tranz 380 terminals with Verifone 250 printers and Verifone pin pad 1000. Monthly rental per set is a reduced rate of $25.00 per month. A set is a Terminal, Printer and Pin Pad. We can also provide a Verifone Omni 3200, which is an all in one set of equipment for the same price. Should you own your own equipment there will be a $5.00 per month service fee.

With a verifone pin pad you can accept Alaska Option debit cards (regional debit card) or Maestro debit cards (International debit card). Alaska Option transactions are $.25 and Maestro transactions are $.35.

A program is available to small or seasonal businesses that manually process paper sales tickets based on the enclosed Exhibit A. The Hardcopy rate has been an average of 6.19%. Hardcopy merchants do not have a monthly rental fee, however you may be assessed a yearly imprinter rental fee of $10.00 or you may purchase an imprinter for $30.00.

But service is where we believe you will see the greatest difference. You’ll receive necessary technical assistance and supplies within days instead of weeks. (We will gladly deliver your supplies if you are located in Anchorage, and if you are located in an Alaska community where we have a branch, the branch staff can receive and distribute your supplies.) Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm we have 3 Alaskan merchant representatives available to assist you with any problems or questions that you may have. After hours and weekends we have an 800 number that you may call for assistance (which is monitored by folks in Anchorage).
