Lessons.  Customized riding lessons utilize reference books, professional videos, our videos of you, a variety of tack and equipment, and the **horses**.  Kevin and Marie are both active horse show judges continually working on branching certifications.  We enjoy sharing proper equitation (riding form for the ring or pleasure), horsemanship skills, and enhanced enjoyment with horses.  Equitation lessons are tailored for each individual.

Facility:  We have two outdoor arenas, small indoor (completed 11/04), and the round pen.  The western arena is set up for barrels and poles, the English arena has a dozen jumps that is cleared for dressage.  Horses are welcome to our 12 stalls and paddocks.  Riding acreage is over 80,000 acres within Nat'l grasslands or state parks with hardwoods, aspen, sandhills, and wildlife. New forest service trails have recently been completed.  We invite you to check out the suggested links at the bottom of this page.  

Transportation:  As time permits, we will provide round-trip transportation from the airport to the Huufda for the cost of fuel.  The nearest airport is Fargo, ND ($25 fee), Minneapolis and Sioux Falls airports are about 3-4  hours.

Lesson Costs per adult for a lessons package is $125/day without lodging.  If you wish to stay at our Huufda Bed and Breakfast, we offer a 50% discount for the Ole/Lena B&B rooms ($20/night) or vacation with lodging is $145/day.

Each additional person you bring along for the vacation/lesson package is (an additional 50% off) or $75.00/day.

Lodging Costs and Options:  Huufda B&B for $40/night or discounted for the lesson package or if using your RV with utilities (water/electricity) at $15 day.  Other lodging is available in our local towns of Wahpeton, Hankinson, Fargo,  or nearby such as the Dakota Magic Casino (eight miles south).    

Brochure.  If you have read this far, consider the next step; request a vacation camp brochure.  The brochure suggests items to bring, and a wide variety of lessons,  and riding disciplines.  Let us know your personal goals by filing out the vacation/camp brochure and send this back to us with your selections.  

Deposit.  After your selected date is confirmed and reserved, we request a deposit of $85 made to Huufda Hotel.  We will return this deposit if notified of your cancellation two weeks in advance.
