The Sudan People's Liberation Army and the Government of Sudan signed a Memorandum of Understanding to reach a final peace agreement by the end of this year.UN Security Council Resolution: Sudan

Humanitarian Assistance
The U.S. is working to reduce suffering from the Darfur crisis. With manpower and money, we continue to support the humanitarian efforts underway in order to avert an even greater loss of life in the region.
