Fishing Knots

Are you tying that same old fisherman's knot over and over for every species? The fisherman's knot, also known as a clinch knot is a good knot but not for every situation. Different species and different types of fishing call for different fishing knots. The game fisherman need have little interest in the knots used by the trout fisherman, who, in turn, uses knots that are not necessarily suitable for the bream fisherman. All sportsmen should have at least 3 or 4 fishing knots in their arsenal that they can quickly tie.
Likewise you should feel confident in your knot and know that it won't come loose or slip when you hook into that elusive trophy fish? See our vast fishing knot library for detailed instructions on how to tie fishing knots step by step. Why take a chance on losing a lunker because you had a loose "granny knot"? We have numerous fishing knots to choose from and whether it is a Snell knot, egg loop, bimini twist, or offshore swivel knot, we have how-to's on these and many more knots for you to learn. Also some basic "must-know" knots for the boat.
