HTML Code Forms
N/A
Rather than hosting your form you create with us, with "HTML Code Forms", code is generated for you to "cut & paste" to your site; so there is never any need for users to leave your site.
Text Boxes
These are commonly used for getting user input such as their name, email, address etc
Maximum Characters Allowed (Text Boxes)
N/A
This is useful for setting a maximum amount of charcters a user may type in this text box; such as setting the max to 10 characters for phone number fields.
CheckBoxes
These are generally used for giving the user fixed answers they can pick from & having it so they can pick multiple boxes; such as picking multiple interests.
"Pre-Checked" CheckBoxes
These are useful if you get your users to fill out a form on your site & you want to "pre-check" the box that asks if they want to subscribe to your mailing list for example.
Radio Buttons
These buttons are commonly used when you want to supply multiple answers the user can select but they will only be able to select one response for the question.
"Pre-Selected" Radio Buttons
Sometimes you may want to set a default selection on your radio buttons to make the forum quicker for users to fill out; such as by pre-selecting the most common answers for them by default & then they can easily change it to any other selections if they wish.
Select Boxes
These are like a combination of checkboxes & radio buttons all in one. They can be used so the user can only select one option (drop-down selection) or they can be used so the user can select many options. The advantage to these boxes are they save screen space.
Default selection
(Select Boxes)
N/A
This is another useful feature which can save your users time whilst filling in your form. Say you have a country selection field; using this feature you can get it to display "United States" by deafult, since this would be the most common answer in most cases.
Text Areas
These are used when you want the user to give their own answer & have a lot of space to type in; such as a area for them to write comments on your site or a place where they can write their message if you're using a form so your users can email you.
Required Form Fields
N/A
These are very useful for making sure the user that is filling in your form fills in each question you want them to. The user won't be able to submit the form without first filling in all your required form fields (unless they disable JavaScript in their browser).
Password Form Fields
N/A
These are recommended to be used whenever the user is filling in any password fields or anything else you may want to hide. You most likely have used these type of fields yourself online where whatever the user types is replaced by "*" characters on screen to hide what they're typing.
Use different email addresses
N/A
This feature is useful if you run more than one site. So if you make 2 different forms for 2 different websites, then you can get the results sent to you @ different email addresses if you so wish.
URL Tracking
N/A
All the URL's to hosted forms you create with "HTML Forms Pro" will be tracked & will be available to you via a link on your account page.
Option to remove ads
N/A

Unlike HTML code forms (where you create your form & just cut & paste the code onto your site) hosted forms have on-going hosting costs which a one-time fee just won't cover long term.

So, we thought we would give you the choice of not paying any extra, but by having ads served on your form pages or by paying a very minimal yearly fee to cover our costs & then you can host an unlimited amount of forms with us.

Submit Button
This is what users use to submit your form.
Reset Button
Reset buttons enable the user to click the button to clear everything they have typed in the form & start over again. It's best not to use one of these on most forms as users may accidently hit it instead of the submit button & then may not want to fill in the form again.
