and Usage Information
PREL holds the copyright
on all of the original material written or developed by our
employees and published on this website. Material may be viewed,
downloaded, copied, or printed for personal use. Multiple
copying of textual material in whole or part, or any reuse
of graphic or video material, requires permission from PREL.

for permission to the Director of Communications by fax (808)

or letter addressed to PREL, 900 Fort Street Mall, Suite 1300,
Honolulu, Hawaii 96813.
The following information is required for reporting purposes:
- a brief description of
your organization, indicating whether or not you are nonprofit
- the material you wish
to use (provide the URL)
- how you wish to use it
- the number of copies you
would like to make
- the audience to whom you
will be distributing it.
If permission is granted,
PREL requires the following acknowledgment on each copy: “This
material has been reproduced with the permission of Pacific
Resources for Education and Learning, www.prel.org.
Copyright PREL [date].” PREL also requires one copy
of the material as soon as it is reproduced.
There is usually no charge
to nonprofit organizations for reproduction. Depending on
the type of material and the volume requested, a fee may be
charged to others.
You are welcome to link to PREL's homepage or any internal
webpages, so long as you do not use frames; otherwise, permission
is required from the Director of Communications.
PREL's website includes links
to third-party websites. These links are included as a convenience
to users; they do not imply an endorsement of the websites
by PREL. To reproduce resources from these linked websites,
you will need to obtain permission from each copyright holder.
The U.S. Government has a
royalty-free nonexclusive and irrevocable right to produce,
publish, or otherwise use—and authorize others to use
for federal purposes—the materials on this website that
were developed with federal funds.
