Vista is a warm, friendly, lakefront restaurant in the heart of Tahoe City.
Located in a historic building, which was the roundhouse for Tahoe's railroad of
yesteryear, Sierra Vista's old Tahoe setting is truly enchanting. This
100-year-old building has gone from being the hub of the local railroad to being
one of the major marinas on the lake. As the emphasis changed to boating so too
did the name of the building change to The Tahoe Marina Mall. Today this active
marina and mall are home to many businesses, shops and our restaurant. Whether
you are boating in for lunch, dinner or cocktails or just to enjoy the marina
and lakefront atmosphere, Sierra Vista offers unsurpassed views of the jewel of
the Sierras.
Sierra
Vista, named for it's superb view of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding
basin, strives to offer a diverse and delicious sampling of flavors from around
the world. Our new
international menu, always offers something new to try at the
Vista. You'll find such delicacies as Chinese Stir Fry, Jambalaya, San Francisco
Style Ciopinno and Chicken Cordon Bleu. Nightly entrees include several pasta
favorites, fresh seafood and unique pork, veal and beef dishes. Our appetizer
selection gets you started on your international culinary adventure with items
including Ceviche, Indian Pakoras and Buffalo Mozzarella. Want to pair your food
with a beverage of the region? Well, we've got you covered there with over
twenty wines and
beers from around the world.
Sierra Vista allows you to try something different, something out of the
ordinary for an unforgettable dining experience. The Vista is open daily for
lunch from 11:30am until 3:00pm and for
dinner beginning at 5pm.
Weddings, Banquets and Private Parties
Sierra
Vista has a seating capacity of up to 300
people and with four dining areas, We can create either an open area for you wedding
or banquet or more intimate rooms for a
smaller private party. The main dining area has a massive river rock
fireplace and can seat up to 110 people. The lake front room has seating for up
to 70 people and our lakeside room can accommodate up to 40. As weather permits,
our uncovered lower deck has seating for 80. What ever your choice may be, every
seat in our facility has an unsurpassed view of lake Tahoe. Sierra Vista is also
available to be closed for your special event. Prices are determined on the
season and the day.
We offer different banquet menus that include a
variety of appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. Creativity, flavor and
presentation are of utmost importance and we go all out to dazzle your guests.
We can customize your party to fit your specific desires and needs; there is
almost nothing we can't do. Whether it's a wedding, graduation, rehearsal
dinner, birthday celebration or a company party, we look forward to creating a
