The bed & breakfast is situated in an important historical
Florentine palace in Borgo San Frediano, in the Florence center,
near Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli’s garden.
The Oltrarno district is famous for the artisan workshops
and the art galleries, and for its local restaurants where visitors
can enjoy Florence’s traditional cuisine.
The Mansion’s history is ancient -the first building dating
XV century- as represented
by the frescoes including the splendid S. Giuseppe, the
Madonna and the Child at the ground floor. During the XVIII
c. the palace was enlarged following the renaissance style by
the noble florentine family Marchesi Capponi. You can enter
in the palace also by the back garden from Lungarno Sederini.
Parterre keeps the original shape of the 18th century.
The spacious rooms of the San Frediano Mansion are finely restored
and the interiors still preserve the original stuccos and frescos.
